It was also ordered to thoroughly clean up the schools before reopening.
It was announced that the Class 10 Board Examinations in West Bengal will begin on June 1, 2021, and end on June 10. It was also announced that the Board Examinations for Class XII would begin on June 15 and end on June 30. Thus some student and teacher unions accepted the demand that classes should be resumed, State Education Minister Chatterjee said a few days ago that their schools would reopen in a timely manner.
Following this, the State Education Minister has given permission to reopen schools for classes 9 to 12 from February 12. Students are also required to come to live classes with a letter of parental permission. However, direct attendance is not mandatory for students.
