UPMSP: Uttar Pradesh Board Class 12th Exam Cancelled By Yogi Adityanath. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has cancelled the UP Class 12 board exams 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma announced on Thursday (June 3). The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
On Tuesday, in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, decided to cancel the Class 12 examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Taking the cue, CISCE had also decided to cancel Class 12 board exams amid the COVID-19 pandemic with Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserting that the decision has been taken in the interest of students and that the anxiety among students, parents and teachers must be put to an end.
Meanwhile, CISCE board students will be given an opportunity to appear in the CISCE board exam 2021 at a later date. CISCE will announce the evaluation criteria for Class 12 students soon. CBSE Class 12 students will also get an opportunity to appear for the exams as and when the situation is conducive.
