The National Testing Agency has ordered the raising of the age limit for the Assistant Professor and JRF National Eligibility Test of the University Grants Committee.

The National Testing Agency has started the registration process for the National Qualification Examination of the University Grants Committee for the month of December 2020 from February 2. Assistant Professor and JRF are to conduct online system examinations to fill the vacancies in the universities and colleges for the job. The age limit for Junior Research Fellowship work has been increased to 1 year in the current year.

Accordingly, the age limit for Junior Research Fellowship work has been increased from 30 last year to 31 this year. No age limit has been announced for the post of Assistant Professor. A total of 55% marks in the general category for the postgraduate degree or equivalent are required for this purpose. SC / ST / OBC / Physically Handicapped / Transgender students are required to have a total of 50% marks in the Master’s Degree or equivalent.

The deadline to apply for the exam is February 2 to March 2. The last date for payment of application fee is March 3.
