Tamil Nadu: TN Lockdown Extended Until June 14, 2021 (Update Today News Extension PDF) – Relaxations Here!!!!! In the face of the constantly increasing number of Covid cases in several districts, it is being suggested that the administration may prolong the curfew until June 14. As the ongoing complete lockdown in Tamil Nadu approaches its completion on June 7, districts with fewer Covid cases may see the lockdown eased, while areas with more cases may see the lockdown with limits.
Chief Minister MK Stalin’s government is expected to extend the COVID-19 lockdown until June 14, with a few relaxations, after chairing a high-level meeting with officials on June 4.
Due to the increase in the corona spread rate, full curfew-free curfews were extended from May 24 to June 7. A complete curfew has been declared in 11 districts, including Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, and Mayiladuthurai, as a preventive measure because to the high incidence of corona. As a preventative measure, a complete curfew has been imposed until June 14 with some relaxations.
Lockdown could not be extended any further, according to CM. “We can’t keep extending the lockdown; we need to put a halt to it as soon as possible. Only humans have control over it. COVID-19 can only be eradicated totally if all regulations are strictly adhered to, according to Stalin.
