Schools for classes 1 to 5 can be opened from Feb 1, 2021 – AP Govt!! The Andhra Pradesh Government has approved the reopening of primary schools in the state from February 1.
In Andhra Pradesh, schools that were closed due to the epidemic reopened only for classes 6 to 12 in December last year. But at that time the State Government did not give permission to open schools for primary school students from 1st to 5th class.
However, due to the declining incidence of the disease in the state, the state government of Andhra Pradesh has now given permission to open primary schools from classes 1 to 5. The government has also issued safety regulations for all schools. Schools are to function full-time for elementary classes.
Security Regulations issued by the Government:
All Students, Teachers, and School Staff must wear a helmet on school premises. Students must come to school only with parental permission. There should only be a maximum of 20 students in a classroom. Classes should be held one day apart if there are more students than that. Also, preventive measures such as social space and hand washing should be strictly adhered to.
