A Rajasthan MLA has written a letter to the Chief Minister regarding the change in the dates of the State Teacher Qualification Examinations for the year 2021.
The Government of Rajasthan conducts annual Teacher Qualification Examinations. Teachers who pass this examination conducted by the Government will be declared as recognized by the State Government. The state government had announced that the Rajasthan State Teacher Qualification Examinations for the year 2021 would be held on April 25.
Rajasthan MLA Kalsharan Saraf has sent a letter seeking to change the dates of the polls as the Mahavir Jayanti festival is coming up on April 25. According to the letter sent by the Minister, REET 2021 is scheduled to take place on April 25 and the Mahavir Jayanti festival is also coming up on April 25. Mahavir Jayanti is considered as one of the important festivals of the Jain community. This will create an environment where many will not be able to take the exam. The letter said that the Chief Minister should postpone the election tomorrow in view of the problems of the Jain community.
Application registration for the REET 2021 exam is done online. Individuals wishing to apply for the examination can apply at the official site at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. The deadline to complete the application form is February 8, 2021. The application process started on January 11, 2021.
