PSEB Punjab Board 12th Class Examination Postponed News Latest Update? Students Requests on Twitter!!!! Check Details Here. The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) already announced this week that the Class 12 board exams will be held in the month of June 2021. After the CBSE decided to cancel the Class 12 board exams, the state board is poised to reverse its decision.
The CBSE exams were cancelled after a high-level meeting hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. The decision to cancel the exams was made by Prime Minister Modi, according to him. Instead of taking offline tests, students would be assessed based on well-defined objective criteria in a timed and equitable manner. Students have been pleading with several state boards to cancel their Class 12 board exams ever since.
While this appears to be the plan for the time being, most state education boards, including PSEB, are expected to be influenced by CBSE’s decision. The state government, on the other hand, has yet to issue a statement on the subject. Punjabi officials, like those in most other states, are set to meet soon to make a decision on the board exams. The examination schedule for the state board exams this month has yet to be issued by PSEB. This is just another sign that PSEB’s board exams may be cancelled or postponed.
Around 3.18 lakh are likely to take the Class 12 board exams in the state this year. While the PSEB has stated that they will adhere to all social-discrimination regulations, it is nevertheless unsafe to administer tests under such conditions. The country is slowly but steadily recovering from the second coronavirus outbreak. It may, however, take another month or so for the body to fully recover and reopen.
