In Uttar Pradesh, the government has issued security guidelines for the reopening of schools for students in classes 1 to 8.
Schools in Uttar Pradesh, which were closed since March due to the Covid-19 curfew, will reopen for classes 6 to 8 from February 10. The first schools will reopen on March 1 for grades 1-5. Thus the state government has issued immunization protection regulations to be followed by schools. According to a report released by the Uttar Pradesh Department of Basic Education, classes are held only twice a week. Only 50% of students will be allowed in the classroom.
Director of Basic Education Sarvandira Vikram Bahadur Singh, who released the schedule for Classes 1-8, has asked the school authorities to follow the Covid-19 security measures while conducting the classes. At the same time, lunch for students should be provided. All schools must obtain a written permission letter from the parents. In addition, parents should provide information about the student’s health and any national or international trips they may have taken to the school.
Also, students will be given permission if they want to study online from home. There are currently 4,438 confirmed cases of corona infection in Uttar Pradesh. o far, 5,88,148 people have recovered from the infection and 8,686 have died from the infection, according to the Federal Ministry of Health.
