The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has sent a letter of permission to the Central Government to set up a Sainik School in every district capital of Uttar Pradesh.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman released the Union Budget for 2021 last week. In it he announced that 100 new Sainik schools would be set up in the country. The Ministry of Defense already operates 31 Sainik schools in the country. Maximum 3 Sainik schools in the state of Uttar Pradesh are functioning in places like Jhansi, Mainpuri and Amethi.
Cynic schools play an important role in providing quality education at low fees. The official spokesperson of the state of Uttar Pradesh said that Sainik schools provide quality education at reasonable rates. Thus a lot of students in the state will benefit. He said if the federal government approves the principal’s letter, more students in the state will have the opportunity to enroll in these schools. He also said that the Uttar Pradesh state education system would get great impetus if the state government’s plan is approved.
It is noteworthy that in the 2021 Federal Budget Report, new plans have been announced for the establishment of a higher education authority in the country and the establishment of a central university in the Le Ladakh region.
