It has been announced that Jawahar Navodaya Schools (JNV) will reopen classes for 10th and 12th classes and start live and online classes for other classes.
Jawahar Navodaya schools were closed in March 2020 due to the spread of corona infection. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya schools are now set to resume direct classes for 10th and 12th classes as the impact of the epidemic has lessened. The Union Ministry of Education has advised schools to strictly follow the guidelines of the state administration. Also, Navodaya schools will be reopened only in the states where the state government has given permission to open schools.
The reopening of schools to other classes of Navodaya schools will be announced soon. The Ministry of Education said the notice would be issued after the accommodation and other facilities for the students were confirmed. Students coming to school will be admitted only after obtaining their parents’ letter of permission. Lessons will continue to be conducted online for students from states whose parents do not allow and who have not been notified to conduct live classes.
