The Jharkhand State Education Council has announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 general elections will begin in May.
Classes were conducted online due to the unavailability of schools due to corona infection. Thus the students were greatly affected. The general elections for Class 10 and 12 in Jharkhand were originally scheduled for March 9.
Parents and students demanded that the Department of Education postpone the Board exams because the lessons were not fully completed and live classes could not be held. Accordingly, the Department of Education has postponed the Board Exams from March.
According to a Jharkhand state education official, the exams are scheduled to be held from March to May at the request of parents. He said the results for the exam would be released in July. Also, the format of the question paper for the Board examination has been changed this year. He also said that 40% of the questions in the exam will be asked as multiple-choice questions.
