State Board of Secondary and Higher Education has announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 Board examinations in Gujarat will begin on May 10.
Gujarat State Board Examinations are two months later than usual due to Covid-19. In the last academic year the Board Examinations were held from March 5-17. Lessons were taught online to students as live classes hThe ave not taken place for the past 9 months during the current academic year.
Gujarat State Board of Education has released the schedule for Class 10 and 12 Board examinations. Accordingly, Class 10 examinations will be held from May 10 to 20 from 10 am to 1:15 pm in the first phase. The science section exams for Class 12 will be held from May 10 to 21 from 3 pm to 6:30 pm in the second phase. The exams for Class 12 general subjects will be held in three phases from 10:30 am to 1:45 pm, 3 pm to 6:15 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. Examinations for vocational courses will be held till May 25.
Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasingh Soodasama said, “We had earlier planned to hold the Board Exams in May.
Board Exams applications for Class 12 Science students will be accepted on the Examination Board’s website from January 21 to February 20. Also, the Gujarat State Intermediate and Higher Education Department has said that the registration of applications for Class 10 and Class 12 general category will begin soon.
