Tamil Nadu Government – Medical Admission based on Plus 2 Score!!! NO NEET Exam!! A high-level consultative meeting on the conduct of final year examinations in schools and colleges across the country was headed by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Minister of Higher Education Ponmudi, Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh, and officials from Tamil Nadu attended on behalf of the state. Anbil Mahesh, the Minister of Education, talked during the meeting about the conduct of Class XII examinations.
He further stated that after consulting with the Chief Minister, he would advise the Central Government of the Tamil Nadu government’s final decision. Higher Education Minister Ponmudi spoke at the event, saying that NEET should not be used in Tamil Nadu and that admission to medical colleges should be based on Class XII general examination results. No NEET Marks will be taken in account.
It is important to note that the Tamil Nadu government, in a statement released in conjunction with the Consultative Meeting on Demands for Complete Abolition of Electricity During the Corona Period, has unequivocally declared that admission in Tamil Nadu will not be through NEET and that the government’s position will not change.
