The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has announced that the GATE examination for engineering graduates for 2021 will begin tomorrow.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bombay is set to conduct this year’s GATE 2021 exam. GATE is the qualification for engineering graduates. This examination is conducted to know the comprehension ability of the students in engineering and science undergraduate subjects. Admission to postgraduate engineering courses will be based on the marks obtained. The GATE 2021 exam is scheduled to take place on February 6,7,13 and 14. The results will be released on March 22. Tickets for the GATE exam will be released on the official website on January 8.
9, 13,272 people have applied for the 2021 GATE exam. On January 27, IIT posted a video on YouTube of the rules that students must follow during and after the exam. Two subjects newly introduced from this system are integrated in the GATE exam. They are Environmental Science and Engineering (ES), Humanities and Social Sciences (XS). Thus the total number of subjects in the examination has increased to 27.
From tomorrow, February 5, activities for the first examination, such as inspections of officers, explanation of the examination to the supervisors, arrangement of examination centers and earlier visit to the examination center if the candidates wish, begin. The first exams will formally begin on February 6. Also on the day of the exam the candidates must strictly follow all the corona safety measures issued by the Indian Institute of Technology.
