The marks obtained by the students in this general entrance examination will be taken into account for enrollment in the courses of Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Colleges of the State of Telangana. Jawaharlal Nehru University of Technology, Hyderabad is conducting this year’s TSCHE Entrance Examination on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (DSCHE).
Date of General Entrance Exam:
The EAMCET exam is held in the first week of May each year. But the election was held in September due to the corona infection curfew last year. Selection for engineering sections was conducted for four days in two shifts daily to ensure social gap due to infectious disease. The medical and agricultural section examination was conducted for two days. More than two lakh students had applied in the engineering and medical fields last year. But it is noteworthy that about 30% of the students did not appear for the exam due to curfew. Officials say the 2021 TS EAMCET exam will be held after June 14.
Telangana Principal Secretary for Education Chitra Ramachandran has announced the syllabus for the current year’s examination. Accordingly, the syllabus for the examination will be 100% from the intermediate first year subject and 70% from the second year syllabus from the current year. Officials said the incidence of corona infection in the current academic year has dropped by 30% in second-year subjects.
In addition, Chitra Ramachandran has announced that the eligibility of EAMCET Intermediate Examination marks will not be reduced and the general examination student marks of 25% and the entrance examination marks of 75% will be used to prepare the ranking list.
