The Delhi Government plans to raise Singapore’s per capita income by 2047: The Delhi Government plans to raise the per capita income of the city to Singapore by 2047, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday while presenting the budget to the State Assembly. Sisodia said that the budget would lay the groundwork for Delhi’s infrastructure and amenities for the year 2047, with a projected population of more than three crores. Delhi’s government has agreed to celebrate the 75th Independence Day and will hold programmes for 75 weeks beginning on March 12, he said. Sisodia has announced a proposal to launch the first Sainik School and Armed Forces Preparatory Academy in Delhi.
