CBSE 12th Class Board Exams 2021 Cancelled – Check Details!! Central Board of Secondary has cancelled the class 12th Board Examination on 01.06.2021. Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting after which the decision to cancel CBSE Class 12th exams was taken in the Meeting.
Decision Taken by PM Based on these Reasons:
- Decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams has been taken in the interest of students
- Health and safety of our students is of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect.
- Anxiety among students, parents and teachers, which must be put to an end.
- Students should not be forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation.
- All stakeholders need to show sensitivity for students.
The schools were closed since March 2020 due to COVID-19 now the second wave of COVID spreading all around the world. So, all the exams are postponed due to this. Based on the above reasons the 12 Board Examination cancelled for the CBSE Students. It affect the Student future but taking the students safety the board has postponed the Board Examination for 12th class.
“The Board Examinations for Class-XII which were postponed vide Notification No.CBSE/CE/Exam.2021 dated 14.04.2021 are hereby cancelled. Class-XII assessment will be made as per well-defined objective criteria in a time bound manner. It is decided that any student who is not satisfied with the assessment, an option to appear in the examinations would be provided by CBSE as and when the situation becomes”
The Hon’ble Prime Minister had earlier held a high-level meeting on 21/05/21 which was attended by Ministers & officials. Thereafter a meeting under the Chairmanship of Union Defence Minister was held on 23.05.2021 which was attended by the Education Minsters of States. Various options for conduct of CBSE examinations were discussed in the meeting and feedback obtained from the States and UTs. Next Meeting is on 03.06.2021 (within two days).
Today’s meeting was attended by Union Ministers of Home, Defence, Finance, Commerce, Information & Broadcasting, Petroleum and Women & Child Development Ministries and Principal Secretary to PM, Cabinet Secretary & Secretaries of School Education & Higher Education Departments & other officials.
