Anna University Re-exam Registration 2021 will begin on May 24, 2021. Students who have not registered themselves in November/ December 2020 examination can complete the process once the link is activated. The short notice released by the Anna University reads, “Registration for re-exam will start from 24-05-2021 (only for candidates who have not registered in Nov / Dec 2020).”
Anna University released only the results of 4.25 lakh students who wrote the online exam. University sources said the results of students found to be involved in malpractice have been suspended.
In addition, out of 2.3 lakh students, only 1.1 lakh students passed the examination. The Tamil Nadu government has ordered the re-exam of students who wrote the exam in February following complaints about poor exam results.
It has been reported that Anna University has decided to conduct re-exam online in June. An explanatory meeting was held on behalf of Anna University with the principals of the affiliated colleges to explain about this re-examination to be conducted in a new manner.
Some of the principals of the liaison college who attended the meeting said:
Students who wrote the online exam for the 3rd, 5th and 7th semester engineering courses last February can apply for this re-examination which will be conducted online. More interested students can write the exam.
And the old question paper will be followed respectively. The examination will be held for 3 hours with questions for 100 marks. Question papers will be sent to those colleges 30 minutes before the examination.
Students are required to upload the scanned answer sheets on their college website after the exam.
